A Little Birdie's green philosophy



A Little Birdie cares about the environment she lives in and wants it to be clean and green for future generations. Here are some of the ways she contributes:
  • Recycling paper, envelopes and ink cartridges
  • Using 100% recycled office paper (made from post-consumer waste) & recycled envelopes
  • Preferring to work with printing companies that utilise eco-friendly procedures and materials such as

    - minimal water use

    - direct to plate or digital printing (less chemicals, energy & waste)

    - vegetable or soy based inks (an alternative to mineral inks, which emit a greater amount of greenhouse gas)
  • Preferring to use papers that are not chlorine bleached (reducing toxic waste)

  • And lastly, A Little Birdie Design Studio is a Climate Neutral business,
    offsetting 3.95 tonnes/year of our CO2 emissions and helping to support the use of renewable energy for a cleaner future

A Little Birdie isn't the only one that can make a difference to our planet's future - you can too! By supporting businesses that care for the environment and questioning those that don't, you will be sending a strong message for change. There's no reason why we all can't be green!
